Human-Machine-Interaction
Ergonomic optimization makes a valuable contribution in every phase of the development process.
Based on ongoing technical developments, modern interaction systems are becoming ever more efficient and complex. Ease of use and accessibility are therefore core demands.
Optimal ergonomic design of the system interface and the operating steps guarantees an uninterrupted exchange of information between human and machine. For us at MMI, ergonomically optimal means adapting system interfaces and operating steps to how human beings naturally perceive, think, and act.
Our experienced team of psychologists, all with a background in applied empirical research, are committed to the purposeful and effective configuration of operator control actions and user interfaces. We support our partners across the entire product development process in order to guarantee optimal usability of the product – from initial idea to market launch:
- idea: Integration of lead users, user and expert inquiries with IdEa (brainstorming in several steps) and Focus Groups
- basic concept: design of operation interfaces and creation of specifications
- simulation: Software development and development accompanying simulation
- evaluation: Interim system evaluations by Usability studies using ProFIS (Test subjects for your study) as well as expert evaluations using MUT (MTO Usability Tool)
- prototype: Rapid Prototyping Simulation
- field evaluation: User tests using field evaluations
- new system: monitoring of system acceptance using Acceptance studies
